Please tell me the height of the ceiling with the cove lighting. Thank you.

Hi, the ceiling was 2.4m, so couldnt take any large chandeliers. With such a large space, we wanted to avoid the "machine gun" approach to spot lighting.

Good Evening,

The ceiling height of the extension was
approximately 2,400mm and the ceiling mounted lights were approximately 200mm
in total height. The guideline we always follow is for the chandelier drop to
be at least 2,000mm of the finished floor level, unless it is above a dining
table/kitchen island, where the drop can be lower.

Hi Irina. It looks a great room, it just needs a few more accessories. I can see you like industrial style, I can't post a pic for some reason but I quite like the layering of art stood on the floor so one really large portrait piece and a smaller one between the sofas. (Try any art arrangements out with paper/card first though) I'd add a copper arc lamp behind the sofa. Perhaps on the bare sofa add a textured throw over an arm, maybe in greige to tie in the beige rug, use of one your patterned cushions and add a velvet blush pink one behind and another on the other sofa.Perhaps just a pile or 2 of books on the coffee table, cox and cox also do some blush and I think concrete vases which might look nice, I might see what the sideboard looks like under the mirror and then lower the mirror if needed. I'd add a sheepskin throw on one of the dining chairs and then add a vase of good large faux stems on the table.

I would consider building the utility in the green space you've already done. Knock through the wall in red and block up the door into the boot room/garage. I would then consider running the kitchen across that back wall. A door to the utility on the right hand side which gives access to the garage and boot room space. I would have large doors out to the garden and then you could consider a long opposite the kitchen unit. It would be narrow but could be perfect for housing a a sink or hob depending on your kitchen layout. Another option is the just build out the back. Re-jog the layout so current utility is kept as is (maybe a bit smaller depending on your needs) and then use the rest of a the space for a open plan kitchen diner.
