How is this done?

the black and white zig zag looks amazing. is this done with vinyl or rubber? and which type of flooring would be better used in the bathroom? thanks Leisha

This flooring has been created using a combination of our black and white vinyl and the pieces have been precision cut and laid accordingly.

Both our vinyl and rubber work well in bathrooms.

If the plumbing is properly done there should be no need to get to the plumbing work behind the tiles. Regarding the cistern the concealed cistern we have is accessible through where you push the flush. The front of this can be removed to reveal access to the cistern. Re the making a seat in the shower these can be made using a tile backer board and then tiles onto, if I think this is what you're trying to do. If you search jackoboard or wedi board these show making seats in showers.

To Will from Christin: Hello again Will, can't figure out how to reply direct to you. I hope you get this. We had a visit from the Parish Council who talked about the colour we intended to paint the Bradstone. We listened then carried on as planned. No, the conservation didn't give us a problem. They are only concerned with keeping the village looking good but fortunately our house is in a part not owned by the estate [all Medieval] and therefore a little more free with a mix of private properties...and anyway we want our place to fit in with the village and look gorgeous. We are planning to have a designer balustrade [Straysparks] in front which is in very clear view. No problems with that. The rest is a new rubble wall by the newly created car parking and a fab limestone staircase to replace the sweeping, crumbling and silly previous one. It's always a good idea to consult and discuss before spending money and annoying anyone that might make your life difficult. Big folding doors...expensive so choose carefully! Good luck. C

Hi, If you want to use pedestals then you will need a solid base to sit them on. I would suggest that a perimeter wall is built off a foundation. I would then infill the area with well compacted granular material such as crushed concrete or crushed granite. You should now have a solid base to lay the patio stones. Don't forget that you will need a balustrade to comply with building regulations. Kind regards Andrew
