What heading have you used - & how are they hung?

I have a similar window to deal with these look great - I like the way they're hanging, we're using wave/ripplefold curtains in adjacent areas. Any suggestions. would be marvellous. Thank you. Ax

Thank you for your interest, they are a pinch pleat hung on a hidden rod. Hope this helps

You would have to assume established high street agents in your area would do a better job - though I'm sure there are some good online ones. We used an online conveyancer, which saved us a lot of money, and they did a better job than than the big name ones our sellers used - so online firms can be good! A little research into reviews and so on would help you. If you do decide to go ahead with an online agent (and many high street ones too!), hiring a pre photographer to spend a decent amount of time at your property and getting high quality photographs is one of the most important things to do to get your property noticed.

Hi Dynamo, I'm responsible for the design in your photo and delighted you like the look of this room. You would only need a few square meters of the split mosaic tiles which are available of sheets, so not expensive for a striking feature. Also, easy to keep free of dust with a quick once over with a dust pan brush, or brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner . WC's are often overlooked but when you consider its a room you use every day and your guests use too, why not make it an enjoyable experience! An alternative and very inexpensive idea for your walls and my signature in practically every home I renovate, is installing 6mm MDF panelling with a 10mm shadow gap in between each panel, apply with Pink Gripfil adhesive. 600mm x 600mm square or horizontal panels of any height add a sense of depth and soul to boring flat, painted walls. A sheet of MDF is cheap as chips, just make sure you prime and undercoat thoroughly with a mini roller before applying eggshell finish or acrylic paint. It's not a main bathroom so not susceptible to humidity, therefore emulsion paint in a contrast shade will work well too. sianember - Love the mirrors! They bring back happy memories. I have a business 'upcycling' furniture - although I've been doing it for over 20 years now and recycling was hardly a thing, let alone upcycling, in those days :D - but I started out selling mirrors on Greenwich market. A friend and I would find old mirrors in junk shops (this was in the halcyon days when every high street had at least one, sadly they are few and far between now) and we would 'pimp' them and sell them. We were particularly fond of using shells as they were free, meant we got to spend a day at the seaside and we could use the children to collect them!

I don't have a sweet tooth at all, never have. My big weakness is vintage cheddar cheese. Apparently as a toddler I would be happy roaming around with a stick of cheese in my hand and I vividly remember sweets that I was given as a child accumulating on 'my' shelf in the sideboard until they were passed over to my brothers to reduce the stockpile. I am now 60 and still happy to forego the sweet stuff. Whenever I am persuaded to try some dessert or cake I invariably regret it after one or two mouthfuls. My standby for visitors is a lemon meringue pie with a ginger biscuit base and made with twice the lemons, half the sugar of a standard recipe. This seems to go down well, is a family favourite and is something that I can join in eating!
