Need to help to re-design/redecorate bedroom
Comments (9)With this being a guest room, I'd go for something light and simple on the walls but bring some colour and texture through with accessories. You seem to have alot of storage in the space, i'd de-clutter these and throw out some of the wardrobe's that you have. Think about having a storage bed so you can hide some of these away. In your alcove, we'd recommend using this as a dressing area. You could have a mirror on the wall and have a small desk/built in shelf put in. again keep this lightly coloured and the mirror will help reflect light from the windows and lighting you may have. Take a look at our web-site for further deisgn ideas and the different beds that we have available. BoConcept Manchester Bedroom Inspiration...See MorePainting Childs bedroom
Comments (22)Hi Suzie, I'm happy to help! If you sand the doors and use a good wood primer you can use the same paint. Then you can wax over the top. A matt finish will be nice and contemporary looking and feel more natural. Glad you like the idea for the knobs, I think it'll be cute! try to add some soft furnishing and accessories with some orange for a pop of colour and use the grey from the carpet too to tie it all together. It'll be great....See Morebedroom design advice

Comments (1)Hello I cannot quite make out the stairs. Do you step onto the landing just outside the children’s bedroom? I ask because I was wondering if you could gain some space there. Failing that you say you have built an alcove into the next bedroom for a cupboard which I can see on your plan. It may be a kerfuffle but could you revisit that and extend it all the way to the window wall? I was thinking that you could then fit a cot in there with drawers or cupboards underneath. If there is such a thing. You could then have a cabin bed for your 11 year old in the location it is now. The cabin bed and similar set up for the cot would hopefully compensate for losing the wardrobe....See Moresej103
