Blinds and Wall Colour for my kitchen ?
Comments (2)How about painting your kitchen duck egg blue, it contrasts well with cream and is not too warm for the heat of a kitchen. It can be used with a variety of different styles/types of accessories and soft furnishings, including ditsy prints, ice cream colours and geometrics. Ideally i would advise buying a blind you love ( a design rather than plain or textured) and using one of the colours in the blind to paint the walls with. If the room is small ensure the pattern in the blind as also small. A large an/or bold pattern will overwhelm the room. The blind needs to be a kitchen blind that resists moisture and grease or it will grow black mould. Also remember to use paint designed for kitchens as it resists grease and steam....See Morekitchen paint colour & Colour of curtains and blinds
Comments (4)I personally would not choose black curtains. I prefer curtains that are a similar colour as the walls, so if you paint the walls grey, then have simple linen-cotton curtains In grey. I cannot see the sink window, so can you share a pic of that wall? I’m thinking, without seeing the window, white painted wooden Venetian blinds. My eye is drawn to your lovely antique style wall clock, so how about a similar shade on your walls, a shade of parchment? If that’s too country style, then maybe off white walls?...See Morekitchen cabinet and wall colours ideas

Comments (5)Hi Lauren, how would you like the room to feel and what styles do you like? For example do you want it to feel dark and moody or do you prefer a light and airy look? For the window you could opt for Roman blinds then to add warmth just dress curtains on the outside of the window to help soften the sharp lines. Hope this helps!😊 If you would like help to complete your room, we are an affordable online interior design company and would love to help you create a room you’ll love!
