Suggestions on front garden project would be appreciated.

Hi all,

looking for some houzz inspiration for the front garden. Until recently we had a border of prickly bushes which was no good for the kids playing outside but also constantly being driven over on the corners by delivery drivers, so already ripped out the one side and working on the other.
The plan is to rip up the grass and put some form of stones down (perhaps), but looking for something that looks good, is low maintenance, but provides some form of border for the garden, but is safe for kids and will withstand or restrict couriers inability to drive meaning they reverse all over the garden.

I have added a picture below, please excuse the finger I had to block out the sun :)
