painted kitchens
Comments (3)Hi Edwardallen we supply handmade painted kitchens, we offer Raw to be handpainted on site or pre painted (sprayed in our factory) both can be repainted in the future if you want a colour change. The general advice we give customers is if they have pets o young children (both tend to cause damage to a kitchen!) we would recommend getting a hand painted finish, this means you can then just get your pot out dab it on and it should be almost invisible. Whereas a spray painted kitchen will have a very clean finish, but touching up if scratched can be a bigger problem to get a nice finish hope this helps regards CKD Link to advice on our website...See MorePaint Kitchen Island and Cut It Down
Comments (11)Finished this on Saturday. Was relatively simple to do. Disappointed that the entire floor has been treated except the portion that is now visible. I am debating having someone spray the island or doing it myself. Worktop needs to change and hob needs to move to complete it, but happy with the size as the edge of the worktop is now in line with the edge of the cooker upright. when i replace the worktop, the overhang may be a little shorter. its currently 35cm to account for the hob to ensure that the space is usable in the meantime....See Morehow to paint kitchen wall with quartz worktops??

Now I’ve used the water based eggshell on some furniture and it’s fine, but I’m not convinced it’s tough enough for a kitchen, so maybe they use the oil based one? I’ve painted my front door in Farrow & Ball exterior water based eggshell and it has fared really well. I personally cannot use oil based paints as they give me a very bad headache so water-based only for me....See Morewendy1der
