Outside shower room

Could you give an indication of the size of the dressing area of this room and separate size for the shower please.

I personally wonder why anyone ever had a wet room, they're so hideously impractical and should be reserved for people with bathing difficulties! A shower roon and utility combined is far better, keep it that way, Where would you put the washer / dryer? you can't keep it in a wet room it'll go rusty.

All of the above is fabulous, but probably very expensive. So, I came up with an amendment for a high sleeper. I took this High sleeper bed available from Wayfair I took the top layer off and moved it down. I was worried that if you put a desk at that level, then you need something around the sides high enough, so that if you move the chair backwards, you aren't going to fall off. If you put the desk at one end, then you can use the whole length for moving up and down. So this is what i had in mind. The blue bit marks where i placed thick ply wood across the slats for extra support. ( A big thank you to my 6 year old grandson Freddie who came up with the idea to start with, well done Fred )

I like your plywood idea in theory but I wonder if the gaps between the sheets can be sealed enough for water to not get in and create damage. Btw, 4 times the wrong lino delivered...must have been frustrating.

Metro tiles - changing colour outside of shower?

Dare I suggest not using metro tiles, unless you love them of course! I find too much tiling can make a bathroom look rather clinical and there are so many lovely tiles you could choose Instead. I think tile the obvious areas such as shower cubicle, around the bath and behind the sink. The rest of the walls can be painted. Here’s some ideas
