I absolutely love the handles on the kitchen cupboards and drawer fronts, really unusual, could you please tell me where I can source these from. Thanks

I like continuing a theme so if the handles match something else then that’s good- but not essential so don’t worry if something else doesn’t match. Separately I think on a door with strong geometric lines perhaps a handle with a square rose would be a better choice.

Ah, I understand. The hanging mechanism of mine has a spring which means that the door doesn’t fold up tight against itself - there would not be enough room for a lever handle, but the cup handle is fine. If you don’t have enough space perhaps flush fit handles would work? There are modern versions, but I rather like flush fit ring pulls. These are mostly intended for cabinets, but Willow and Stone sell some lovely examples in different sizes, and big enough to use on a folding door.

You may be overthinking it. The thing to consider with black is that it tends to be the 'boss' in the room if placed next to anything very pale, especially white. This means that (for example) a black fridge on a white wall would be the first thing you would see. This is why huge black TV's on a white wall are a terrible eyesore because they dominate a space. Consider testing 'Stirabout', it's a bit deeper and warmer than Skimmning Stone.
