Need help with my tiny dining area layout pls
Comments (9)I would suggest built in seating, too. Build in along the wall with the kitchen counter and under the window. I can't see what happens at the end of the wall (door? or another wall?) but it could meet the other wall or you can curve it or angle it at the end if there is a door. Get a rectangular table that has an extra leaf or folds out so you can turn it 90 degrees and extend it for those few times a year you need it. OR if you have a shed and the room, just get a big MDF board that is the size you want for Xmas with four bits of wood attached to the bottom so it sits over your regular table and doesn't move around. Whip it out of the shed and dust it off when you need it. I'll look for some pretty pics now of built ins and dining tables. . ....See MoreNeed help with tiny girl room.
Comments (22)Hi, lots of good ideas already submitted. A loft or cabin bed will help make good use of smaller spaces, or an Ikea Hemnes daybed will extend out for sleepovers and has lots of storage space too. With a small space, I'd definitely go for white furniture and keep the style quite simple. Fitted furniture also worth considering if budget allows. If you are looking to "future proof" the room for when your daughter is older, consider a study bed such as those from www.studybed.co.uk - not cheap, but great use of limited space and will last well into teen years. Wrt walls - I'd keep it really simple as others suggest with offwhite or light grey walls and then add colour with soft furnishings. Of you want to add some girly interest to walls without breaking the bank, try the idea below - a couple of inexpensive stencils (butterflies here) and some tester pots of paint in nice contrasting colours....See MoreBathroom layout advice needed [HELP]
Comments (5)Would it be possible to move the door so you could gave a shower tray on the 120cm wall? Then you'd have plenty of room for the toilet and basin/vanity on the 170cm wall....See MoreTiny bathroom advice needed :)
Comments (2)Apart from the door position, my bathroom is about your size and layout and has a dual shower with drencher head above the bath. It doesn't look weird and I've had plenty of compliments! You've also got a higher ceiling than me so it should look much better. Most importantly, they are really nice to use. I say go for it. Regarding the towel rail, I went for a wall mounted one to make best use of the limited floor space. Just an idea. I've included a couple of photos so you can see what the shower might look like in a room your size. Please excuse the poor camera quality....See MoreOnePlan
