I've just designed my own walk in wardrobe after doing them for clients for years. I'm going for the "Carrie from Sex and the City" layout, where you walk through the wardrobe to the ensuite. Unfortunately, my wardrobe will not be stuffed full of designer labels though! NB it is also the pre Mr Big wardrobe, yikes, don't ever think I'd have a house big enough for that one!!!

There are multiple options for what you need but first of all there are a few questions to ask. 1. What are you hoping to install the tiles on externally? 2. Do you need a grip finish (advisable with children or if there is chance for build up on the tiles) 3. Are you looking for a 10mm internal and 20mm external tile? I think we have a 300x1200 20mm plank available to us with a 10mm internal option which isn't currently on our website. Decluttering is always a good idea and essential for a great Feng shui in your home. One of the most fundamental rules of Feng Shui is that good energy cannot accumulate in a space that is cluttered with junk. Creating space is an important concept for a minimalist lifestyle and open flow of energy in your home. If like me you tend to buy spontaneous clothes when you stress the idea is to stop and create an uplifting closet with quality items that reflect your style and not your emotional stress! You can even take this concept further to the 10 items wardrobe concept by Jennifer L. Scott (author of Lessons from Madame Chic). Where should the beds, wardrobes & radiators go?

This is my first idea. I assumed that the single bed would fit between the external wall and the chimney breast (90cm); and the space between the window and the WC wall can accommodate a wardrobe of 60cm depth. The master bedroom I assumed that the chimney breast sticks out into the room less than 60cm. Please see the plan below for my suggestions. I think in the master bedroom it would be best to have a built-in wardrobe on the chimney wall and the shallow space can be used as accessories storage. I also suggest incorporating sliding mirror doors as this would give the impression of a larger room. This layout would not leave enough space for night tables but those can be incorporated into a headboard as per below suggestions. You could also have pendant lights on both sides of bed instead of traditional lighting. This would give you a wow effect and free space on the surface.
