Paint and Paper Library - what is the quality of the paint?
Comments (3)Hello Satkinso, I would say they are at the higher end of the paint market which I would use along with others such as Zoffany, Little Greene, Fired Earth etc etc that produce beautiful colours as they do finishes and I look for the best and unique. It could be perhaps poor execution on behalf of your decorator.. In the kindest possible way, but I have seen newly painted works from a previous clients decorator that was shockingly bad in terms of quality... I would be inclined to say it is this rather than the paint. I do though have a very good eye for snagging and I would suggest one more coat with a careful hand... See how you go to be sure before taking any other steps.. You also need a dry environment which makes for a good finish and best drying environment... If it's neither the application nor the paint, it could be the tools used... Paint roller or inferior bristle brush.. I like the softest brush for a superior finish and roller need to be very good quality and preferably shaggy looking I find works best.. : ))...See Morestriped wall paper: which color?
Comments (6)It's a very bold look so I think if you're going to go for it then go for it with the bolder black and white design. Try moving both of your sofas forward a few inches to give the curtains a little space. You could add a baroque style mirror on the dining wall to zone that area, perhaps a round or round'ish one. I'd also accessorise the table. If you wanted to expand the look further than switch the White cabinet for a Louis style one in a bold colour which would pop (hate that word but can't think of another!) against the wallpaper...See MoreColour for kitchen?
Comments (2)How exciting!! Great news! I can't really see the rest of the room but based on those images I would keep with the contemporary neutrals in keeping with the kitchen. A little greige on most of the walls. Something like Ammonite but it depends on the lighting levels and directions with in the space. I would then create a feature wall the other side of the dining table - probably opting for a mural of some kind rather than a paint colour :) Best of luck...See Morepaint colours to complement this paper?
Comments (6)I like Serengeti Grass from that selection of colours. If you have artwork to hang, it would be a fabulous background....See Morelobna_abdelsattar
