Updating tired kitchen
Comments (3)You could remove the old handles, fill the holes, sand down the doors and paint them to freshen up the kitchen. An off white/stone colour would completely change the look of the kitchen and look totally different with the existing tiles. You may still see the old holes slightly but it would be the cheapest way of refreshing the space. Change the light fixture and maybe update the flooring if funds allow....See Morewant to update my kitchen and bathrooms on a limited budget

Comments (4)The cheapest option is to paint the doors, but it’s also the most time consuming. The units look very French country. I wonder if it is worth all that effort if you are going to change everything in a couple of years? To paint them properly they need a through clean, then a light sand, then painted with 2 coats of primer and then 2 top coats of eggshell. Each coat must be allowed to dry between coats otherwise they will feel tacky. You could get a decorator to do it for you but that normally costs at least £150 + a day so will bust your budget....See Moreupdating a kitchen
Comments (7)Doors are an older design so perhaps look for some plain slab doors as they tend to be the cheapest. The worktops do rather make the room look dark. Could these be swapped to a pale colour to compliment whatever you may swap the door colour to?...See MoreOrla Kelly
