try cult furniture or ebay if in the uk. I've seen them in both places.

We have lovely sash and case windows but the neighbours are VERY close. I don't want to change the glass but does anyone know a good stick on 'frosting' that can be used? I just want to do a central square on lower windows to add some privacy.
Or other suggestions?

I have tried a sheet from B&Q, looked less like frosting more just a bit of greaseproof paper stuck on the window!

Carolina is correct here with recommending a Victorian Floor Tile or Quarry tile. They do come in 100x100mm approx and are in a matt finish. Thanks very much for the replies. I actually ended up going with the Boston handles from hafele. My centres (after remeasuring properly) were 416 and 454 and the Boston handles had a 416 and 448 option which is the closest i've been able to get - i think i might just have to bit the bullet and move one or both of the holes to make up the 6mm difference. One thing i was going to ask is that the ends are separate from the bar and if i wiggle the bar ends open by a few mm each side they obviously fit pretty well but then expose a bit of the black plastic (if that makes sense). What i was wondering is there such a thing as a packer or washer for handles such as these? Probably a silly question but though i would ask just in case! Thank you again
