Where is this kitchen from

I love this kitchen. We are looking for a casual/scruffy look in our new one and this fits the bill.

Wow, you have done a great job already with your kitchen. You have had so many great ideas re. the wall there isn't anything on that I could add. To solve the problem of the chairs hitting the wall I would either opt for a huge floor to ceiling mirror which would encourage one and all to be careful when leaving their seat or my preferred option would be to replace the chairs on that side with a bench. I'd cover the bench in either shabby chic cushions or a deer or sheepskin rug for comfort and I'd play with table decor. Get chair covers for the redundant chairs and use them in the bedrooms - one in each corner. Then for formal dinner parties or for when the table is extended you simply remove the covers and add them to the table and you can still use the bench if the table is extended.

Hi I recently painted the area between cupboards and worktop in a colour that was in some art work that was hung in the kitchen and sourced a 'cost effective' clear splash back to fit on top. Budget was tight so this worked well. Also just my opinion, the seamless splash back looks quite effective in a contemporary white kitchen rather than tiles. It continues the clean lines and modern look. If you're not keen on bright colours, a marble wallpaper with the clear splash back would also look luxurious and different. Add some lighting under the cupboards to highlight the splash back and accent the room with dark wood whether that's the floor or small items like chopping board or utensil holder.

Maybe others will have ideas but you seem a bit limited in what you can do or to me anyway assuming you chose the glass lid for safety. I'd paint the walls in a washable, moisture resistant paint (I might look at little Greene ). If you still want a splashblack of sorts you could just paint in a splashblack which could look quite effective or maybe use a metallic leaf or the microcement/polished plaster could work, I'm just not sure how thick it is but I believe it's extremely thin (I will see if I can find a pic if you like that idea). You could always add shelves over the sink
