Location of roof lights
Comments (4)Hi Simon Looks great, just what I was envisaging. What is the difference between a roof light and the eaves roof light please. Yes, I was thinking of putting a light very close or abutting to the other room (this is the utility room - it has a Windows in the wall but the light is quite poor as its north facing and close to an external wall) there will be a big bifold door at the widest part of the kitchen (where the light comes in) Kind regards Lisa...See MoreFlat roofs - Yes or No
Comments (0)Modern flat roofing membranes have changed significantly over recent years. We see flat roofs specified on both Extensions and New Builds, The old bitumen based products seem to be becoming less and less, with modern products improving all the time. But i'm interested to know if peoples views on flat roofs have changed as significantly as the products themselves. Do you still find yourself having to justify or sell a flat roof to a client or if you are a potential client I'd appreciate your view also? www.delldevelopments.co.uk...See MoreLED Lights for Roof Light
Comments (4)Do you want to see the reflection of the LEDs in the roof light? I wouldn't like that as it will show up every mark on the glass every time it gets dark....See MoreRoof lights. Where to place in kitchen.
Comments (7)I'm not a professional, but I do think they are both rather on the large side for the space. Where will you put ceiling lights for the evenings? And will there be more windows? Is it a newly built house or extension? Is the kitchen closed off from the rest of the house? Will you have a dining table in there? Which way is the room facing? Could you provide more information and a floor plan of the house? Would it be possible to have a vaulted ceiling with Velux type windows that you could open in the summer?...See MoreKent Blaxill
