Kitchen cabinet colour - Howdens Stone

Hi there,
I have decided on Cosmic black granite worktop for my kitchen, I am 100% certain that this is the worktop that I want but I am unsure what cabinet colour will work best. I did want Howdens stone (see picture) but i don't know if this will be dull with the worktop and I don't have the vision to picture it when finished. I have samples and put together they look fine but it's not the same as seeing the full kitchen. I am not changing my choice of worktop but will change the cabinets if needed. I will have oak flooring. I would be so grateful for any advice. Other colour options are
white, Ivory and cream. Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

I don't have a pic unfortunately but my mum quite recently had this fitted with a pale greige Quartz worktop and upstand, cup handles and an oak effect karndean floor which looks really nice. It does look good with oak and oak. I personally would go for an off white Quartz or a marble Quartz but as I say the wood does look good. Comments (10)Hi. I think a white/neutral with a pink undertone might work. You could look at farrow and ball slipper satin or dimity but I'd pick up a few colour charts and then get some testers. Comments (47)If its a choice between Wren and any other kitchen provider in the universe go with the other! I had nothing but trouble dealing with Wren. They were much more expensive, expected me to organise the individual contractors (tiler, plumber), the quotes from their nominated contractors came in AFTER I had the work completed by a Howdens specialist and had to chase them for months to get my 'fully refundable' deposit back. The Howdens contractor did everything from the design (picking up major design flaw in the Wren design) to the aftercare. I got solid wood doors and solid wood bench tops for less than what Wren quoted for cheaper options. He even came back and did some extra decorating work to finish the job off nicely. 7 years agoIt's hard to see the shade from the photo but black and white always create a nice contrast. The crisper the white the better the worktop will look. Here's an example of one of ours:
