Our Kaleidoscope Collection Launches at Decorex this Year!

Returning to the prestigious location of Syon Park for this annual four day event, Decorex International sees exhibitors from established names through to emerging talent launch new collections alongside a host of interactive feature areas.

We at Designer’s Atelier are honoured to be a part of this renowned design show and we will be delighted to see you at our stand ( K60 ) for the launch of our Kaleidoscope Collection.

The Kaleidoscope Collection exclusively created for Designer’s Atelier by Ewelina Mlynarek is intuitive, radical and dynamic.

Inspired by Dame Zaha Hadid’s parabolic shapes which became a trade mark of her aesthetic, Ewelina playfully uses complex patterns and vivid colours reminiscent of a kaleidoscope which sees its bicentennial anniversary this year.

Designer’s Atelier’s collection consisting of Ewelina’s kaleidoscopic imagery creates a visually stunning impact that blurs the lines between art and design, drawing viewers into a psychedelic wonderland. Arousing one’s curiosity a collaboration between a philosophy design practise and this up and coming textile designer, provides a glimpse into another world of strangeness and newness, translating the continuous fluidity of unusual patterns into sculptural sensuality.

The exclusive spring/ summer collection of upholstery fabrics, velvet cushions, wallpapers, 100% silk scarves, dinnerware and artwork is digitally printed in the United Kingdom using the finest materials

Our small city kitchen does not give much opportunity for extra gadgets...we have a coffee maker, a small toaster and a blender which get used almost every day. I recently bought a caffe frother which is about the size of a cocktail glass...perfect gadget for a kitchen with limited storage.

I love my tree decorated in red white & silver I've collected over the years absolutely loads of very traditional ornaments, Even though we've updated our living room the tree will never change its a real talking point when family or friends visit the tree stand's at 8ft tall & I'm so Proud! of it.

It looks great, I'm glad you and your daughter are so pleased and she has lots of room for friends over, playing etc. It can also be easily and cheaply adapted as she grows if she wants. My only criticism (if you can call it that) is that if not already your daughter may soon also want the desk to double up as a dressing table and therefore I think a mirror was a good idea but the memo board (which looks great) can always be moved as and when needed. (I thought i'd posted a comment on that previously but obviously not!). I might also add a desk light there for working during winter months. So which room next?!
