Fabric shower curtains

Does anyone know where to source good quality fabric waterproof shower curtains? I used to buy the PolyCotton Wide Shower Curtain, White 240 X 190 from a company called showerail, which is no longer trading.

Screen every time having tried both over the years, Maintenance - Mr Muscle Shower Spray does a pretty good job & every now & again, you do have to clean thoroughly the 'seal strip' at the bottom where it meets the bath (I was out-voted on getting rid of the bath in favour of just a lovely large shower unit or even better....wet room) :-( Ah well. Had the plumbers move the shower controls to the middle of the bath so we could still reach them without having to get wet by turning them on or making it impossible to reach round the screen on the bath - I would recommend that!

You should factor in the cost of replacing the curtain frequently. A screen would cost about £50 on Amazon, and a curtain much less. But, you'll get mould on the curtain often, and the cost of replacements would soon add up. you might also want to think about visual space. The room will look larger with a glass screen as you can see through it to the back wall. An opaque curtain would create a visual block. Having said all that, there are advantages to a curtain. You could pull it all the way back when bathing children. (Check you see whether you have enough space to open the shower screen all the way. If so, there would be no difference; if not, the curtain would offer more flexibility).

If you love the fabric, then that is your answer. Personally I think the window style is traditional and so I would go for a double or triple pencil pleat rather than eyelet. I presume you are having your curtains made bespoke in this fabric. Pencil pleats probably use a bit more fabric so would be more expensive, but bespoke curtains are already expensive and I think the finish with pencil pleats is superior. I always think full-length curtains look much better, but you do have radiators under your windows and full-length curtains would significantly block the heat during winter. Also when the curtains are open they may present as black-ish stripes on either side of the windows.

Normally, John Lewis would have been my first port of call, but they've announced that they will not be re-opening their Aberdeen store (our nearest city) Both Whaleys and theclothshop look to have a really good selection of the kind of thing I'm looking for, will also check John Lewis online.
