need help for patio enclosure with glass roof and door to garden

Need to cover patio between my existing kitchen extension and naighbor's Party wall.

I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE WARM AND PRETY LITTLE SPACE TO ENJOY THE GARDEN IN ANY WEATHER .Prety roof with a lot of glass and gals door to garden Size: cca 2m wide and 4m long. suspended floor boards to level wit the rest of the house.

Some photos of this area of your home as it is at present would be useful, but here's a few pointers:
1. depending on what country you are in you may need to get your neighbours permission to build up to their party wall (in the UK you definitely do) so make sure you can get them on board before progressing.
2. depending on what direction this area is facing, and again whereabouts your home is a lot of glass could either make it unbearably hot (south facing in northern hemisphere) or very cold (north facing in northern hemisphere) so you might want to consider incorporating some solar shading or shuttering in the design, or some more unglazed elements to fill with insulation and keep it warm respectively.
3. glazing to roofs can bring light deep into the footprint and can really lift the quality of the space, but too much glazing in a roof could result in unwanted glare, and again overheating or over cooling and can also be quite costly, so you may want to consider using it tactically rather than to the roof wholesale.
If you manage to get any pictures to upload and details of what country/direction the building is in it would narrow it down a bit.

Thank you! Could you please tell me if It would require surveyor's or architect's drawing, and what would be the difference?

Bearing in mind that you have young children, the focus of the garden in my opinion should be on them. A small patio/dining/relaxing area for adults near the house, and perhaps also at the end of the garden would be lovely. I would also have most of the garden redone in grass (real grass!) with room to play. And I would keep the fence... its the most practical having children near a river, even if they're not babies anymore. I would probably break up the unusual shape of the garden with a few pots, planters and borders 'sticking' out into the garden so the eye is drawn away from the sharp, narrow end. I agree with what was said above though about just living with the space for a bit and seeing how you use it.

Carolina, I'm not sure our building regs people really knew about the rules for horizontal wires either but in the end they said they could be climbed like a ladder and wouldn't permit them. Annoying when I've seen photos of them used in lots of places, including commercial buildings & bordering much higher drops than we needed.

We got ours from Apple Blinds which is local to where we are in the North West. They are battery powered so didn’t need to be wired in. They operate by remote control which is attached to the wall with a discrete bracket and looks a bit like a smart home monitor I think. They need charging only once every few months. They charge by plugging in to charger for a few hours. The blinds when open are also very discrete but you should check whether they can be attached around your window frames. I agree with others that open glass is nice but I think for security purposes it is a good idea to have something for when you are away or over night etc

Keiblum's suggestion saves an extension and could be built on. if the play space is no longer needed then that means the room uses can return to living, kitchen and dining. my thoughts run to keeping the doors to the patio bbq area, run the kitchen down that wall (and honestly I don't know how long or how many cabinets that could be), use your Ikea island and see if any you could make use of the under stair area for utility area (something like a European laundry) or maybe the fridge ? The fridge might be better in the cabinet run though. Add another set of doors where the kitchen sink once overlooked the garden and use this area as your dining. You might even find yiu have space for more informal seating. In doing this you will be able to connect your bbq area to the kitchen and find yourself using this area as an outdoor dining room, giving rise to possibilities of further development of this space to use rather than it be a walk through. Another thought is if the layout was swapped as described you might be able to explore gaining more outlook by adding a full length window into the wall between the two sets of doors, or even removing the wall completely and glazing it to become full glass right across the rear wall, but without changing the footprint? Putting in another set of french doors might be the more reasonable option if the kitchen is swapped, but Kieblem's suggestion makes great use of the available materials .

Sorry! I forgot to mention, house is in UK, London, and back garden is facing West, and there is no direct sunlight.
