New Grey/White kitchen
Hi this is my first post - hope you can help.
We are just about to move into a new build which they have already put grey gloss cupboards and white sparkle work tops into the kitchen diner.
I'm now stuck on which flooring and dining furniture would go well.
Not keen on wood flooring and would personally LOVE a high gloss calacatta style floor but I'm concerned whether it would work?... And then what table!
What are your thoughts?

It looks great so far which is exciting.
Your idea on flooring is perfect and what I would have recommended anyway. It will help lighten the space from the darker units. I have added a few images to show you how it would look.

As for the dining table, it's tough without seeing the space so being aware of the rooms light levels, wall colours, and over all style of the space... But I would go white or glass to keep the contemporary look and maybe try mixing chairs - again added some images you may find helpful.

Comments (8)Hi richtraff, grey and white is a good no great combination. I like the grey under the cream it is a better tone of grey and will be lovely with white. quite soft and calm. The change of the two areas is nice as it stops being to uniform. white brick tiles with a good size grounting in grey looks good with that combination. B and Q are doing those for about 12.00 for 50. then look at Velspar paint also at B an Q ( american paint) washable and scrubbable same price as dulux but better. Grey paint on the walls, I have just used "quiet interlude", a lovely grey. you can then go for a dark floor if you want to or grey wood flooring also looks good. It is a simple, clean look and can be funkied up with an accent colour. Orange is strong this year or a deep aqua both go well. hope this helps...See MorePale Grey and White kitchen

Without seeing the tones in a picture its difficult to determine which shades you have chosen but I can visualise both white and grey in a printed or decorated tile. By choosing a decorated tile you can combine the colour of your cabinets and your work surface beautifully. There are so many beautiful tiles out there..here are some lovely examples..im not sure what your style is but here a few options ... 5 years agoKerry I love that! Who built the corner unit for you? It's one of the settings I've been debating for space saving. How practical/comfortable is it?? I've had these pinned for ages...
Also included my layout, I was thinking of the corner unit opposite the patio doors if that makes sense.

5 years agoWhat are the dimensions of the kitchen? If you want a glam look have you considered a patterned tiled floor at all? It's not cheap but Oka do this dining bench which also comes in a grey if you didn't want something built. I love banquette seating but must admit I struggle to find any online!
