Curtains on a track or roman blinds on bay window?
Comments (20)That many blinds would be a pain to open and close on a daily basis. You'd likely end up leaving some of them closed permanently which would cut the light enormously. Consider curtains that hang from the flat wall above the archway, in front of the whole bay window. When open they could hang on either side of the opening, meaning no loss of light. It would definitely make the room smaller when closed but would be a lovely 'wall of fabric', closing off any clutter on your dressing table....See MoreHas anyone ever re-covered Roman blinds?

Comments (3)Hi Debbie, some pictures of the room would be ideal, but in terms of roman blinds that would work with grey walls you could go with something like this grey Orla Kiely pattern Here's the link - https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/orla-kiely-roman-scribble-cool-grey.html alternatively you could go with a more neutral colour like this roman blind below. https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/speckle-silver-glint.html We have a whole range of roman blinds available, and the great thing is, you can order free samples of any blind. That way you can be 100% sure of the colour, before you buy. here's our range of roman blinds - https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/roman-blinds/ Hope this helped!...See MoreRoman blind query
Comments (8)Hi, Linen is such a lovely fabric, yet it is prone to creasing unfortunately due to it’s fluid nature.I’m guessing that the company did not make you aware of this? However, if you’re like me I know what I like, and will try to make it work;) That aside, I’m wondering what kind of blackout material they have used to line the blinds. With a stiffer type of material, there will be less movement than with the linen which can be a difficult material to work with. So in combining the two together, it could be that the linen doesn’t work well with a stiffer fabric, therefore ‘creasing’ will occur. That being said, it is likely that creasing will occur anyway even with a lighter lining, as that’s the nature of linen, and some people even like this look. I do however also sympathise with you,as I also chose linen Roman blinds in my last home, and was quite frustrated by the creasing. I wouldn’t say therefore that this is a manufacturing fault, just not perhaps the best choice of fabric for ‘Roman blinds. You could also try steaming them very gently as arc3d has suggested,to see if that makes any difference; if not maybe you could learn to love them just the way they are......See MoreVenta Construction
