Mylands. You always regret your economies. I've repainted this kitchen 4X over the years, and last time was in Dulux which wore so poorly. Just custom mixed a new vibrant duck egg to paint my kitchen in marble matt walls, eggshell woodwork, and floor paint. Mylands matched impeccably. It was a dream of coverage, and looks spectacular. The quality of the pigment shows, looks the money, nothing like synthetic mediocre pigments in cheaper paint. It's a big improvement.

Hello Vikram, I think brass is nice with black personally and I would suggest wood for Windows and doors as UPVC does not add value to the home. You may never want to move but wood is lovely and really can't be beaten... Others may well disagree but I would never specify UPVC. With a wooden door you can then choose good locks.. Banham are best and they cater to Windows too but you can buy window locks online to suit the style of window ie sash or bay etc .. Have a look online and I'd say choose 1 finish throughout ! Also think about the other door furniture central door knob? , escutcheons, letter plate etc :))

I've read about the problems some people have had with electric underfloor heating. Mostly the cost of running it. Underfloor heating works best with good insulation under it. Fitters of electric underfloor heating avoid insulation to keep the height of the new floor to a minimum, but this results in a lot of heat loss into the floor. With electric costing four times the amount gas does some have said with the huge heat loss through the floor combined with cost of electric they saw their bills go up ten fold. The electric may seem like it's cheaper but overall it can cost a lot more. Especially if you are doing the entire ground floor. I recommend researching further before committing to electric underfloor heating.

Everything is just personal preference. I agree that T bar handles are a nuisance insomuch that you can catch yourself. I’m not a knob lover but I have arthritis in my fingers and knobs are more difficult to grab as opposed to a handle. By co-incidence I was looking for black handles only this morning for a customer and while there are some it is limited. Look online at Hafele. You can’t buy direct from them but Toolstation stock some of their products or give Hafele a call and ask for a local trader. Regarding splashbacks look online at Premier Range for colourfull glass splashbacks.
