Paint Colour suggestions please

Hi. I'm really stuck on what colour to paint the walls in our front bedroom, could anyone please advise. The room is currently sickly pink. I've just painted the floor Anthracite grey (Ronseal) and we have a large rug that's an heirloom I need to keep. I will need extra heavy curtains on the windows as it's a main road outside... so that's where the budget will need to go. Any colour, curtain or accessory suggestions would be really, gratefully received.
