Kitchen Diner dilemma
Comments (5)I agree with Brandi Nash Hicks, the first thing that struck me was that the table would be better the other way around. When not in use and the chairs pushed in it would allow more space on the doorside, no one would have to look at a wall and it would just feel more spacious. You could even have the narrow part up against the wall. Not sure what the TV is for, is this also going to be a sitting area? It looks far too high up on the wall. I would put any other seating so you can look outside. What do you want to use the room for? It would help if you posted photos of the rest of the room....See MoreKitchen diner
Comments (1)Hello, I love this midnight blue colour, very on trend at the moment! If it is for a rental I would suggest going for a neutral colour though with a mat finish. There are lovely warm grey colours and also lots of taupe and light greys, which I think would work really well in your space. Maybe think of a light work surface too. It will make the room feel more open and light.(I have attached a photo of a swatch of these colours.) If you didn't want to change the flooring these colours would go very well with what you have currently. If you do change the flooring, I would suggest the same flooring to go through both rooms to give it continuity. Engineered wood looks great and gives the space a lovely cosy feeling. Is there another room where a living room can go? There are numerous possibilities for this home. If you have any plans it would be great to see them as we might be able to help a little further. We hope this helps. The team at Modus Kitchens....See MoreMy kitchen diner (diner part) help.

Our system allows you to swap the fabrics whenever you like without having to replace the complete system. Check us out at blocblinds.co.uk. Good luck with such an exciting project! Comments (24)I’m struggling to find a way to have a kitchen/island (really would like an island to have useable counterspace), generous dining table (seating for at least 6 people) and a sitting area in the same room if we don’t open up the wall between the current front and back living rooms. Would it make more sense to have part of the garage incorporated into the kitchen? There is a slight difference in floor level though between the garage and kitchen (Step down into the garage). Or block up the current kitchen door and have the access to a dining/kitchen through the current back living room space and then somehow fit in a dining table and seating area?...See MoreCurtis Designs
