UPVC Windows - what colour???
Comments (9)I agree with Oneplan. Perhaps you could add colour through a fabric (e.g. in a blind) if that is important to you. Or some wall art/photos on the LHS when facing the window By the way, I really like your kitchen colour scheme! Can you tell me (i) what brand/colour you chose for your countertop; (ii) the two grey colours you have used; (iii) the brand/colour of floor tiles. Thanks....See MoreDark UPVC Windows
Comments (2)Hi Katie, I used to dislike dark windows, because they used to make me feel heavy and oppressive, but since living in the UK, I have started to really quite like them! Perhaps try and make them a feature somehow for now. It seems a pity to cover your windows with curtains when by the sea! Dark windows act like big frames and they will create patterns and architectural features. I get that these windows may not be of the gorgeous kind if you are trying to hide them, but try to see the potential perhaps in the initial idea and see if you can work with it for now. I put together a little idea board to help you visualise some rooms. I would love to know what you end up doing. I always wondered what I would do if I bought a house with dark windows that I didn't like, so I do understand ;-) I hope this gave you a few ideas! Have a great day! Comments (5)I think soft green always looks nice with red/brown brick. I’m a bit concerned that your windows do not allow escape in case of a fire as the only opening parts are tiny. This pic below is Little Greene’s Celestial Blue, which looks more green to me! However it may be bit too cottagey?...See Morewhat colour blinds go with brown uvpc windows?
Comments (4)Hi Beth, if you have any pictures of your conservatory that would make it easier to recommend, but a great choice for conservatory windows are Perfect Fit blinds, these blinds are also really easy to install as they fit straight into the window frame. Here is a link to our range of Perfect Fit blinds, and you can see a picture below of how they look in a conservatory. https://www.makemyblinds.co.uk/perfect-fit-blinds/...See Morelspendl 828
