Howdens burford stone - help with floor and tiles!

We are having our kitchen re done as well as changing our conservatory into a proper room. The conservatory leads off the kitchen and it is L shaped. We are having a Sky pod in the roof of the 'extension' so should be light and airy.

We we are settled on the Howdens burford stone kitchen with a white granite top (as per the pic ---which is not mine but the exact combo we have chosen also!!!) but need help picking the right floor!

We have 2 small children and so it needs to be child friendly and not show every fleck of dirt! Any suggestions? I think too pale would not have a contrast and too dark would ruin the softness but what about oak flooring? It will run through both rooms and the kitchen/diner is approx 5x3 and the extension/conservatory is 3.4x2.8.

will oak flooring be too much with white worktops?

also what does everyone think on light worktops (as per the picture) with a black composite sink?

and we really like metro tiles but what colour? Taupe/grey?

thank you in advance!
