Interested in info about the "wine fridge"

Does it have a chiller function or is it just shelving. If there's a chiller how was this installed
Also, how many bottles can be stored in the bottom storage

Hello Sarah,

Neat looking under-the-stair wine nook but our best guess is that there is no cellar conditioning in this space, not least because it looks as though there may be a small gap between the centrally opening glass doors (and possibly on the hinge sides too), which would send cool air into the living space.

Wine walls are available from Wine Corner in Doncaster with Aircon. also custom fridges.

we're also in scotland and in a new house (well new to us). it's a victorian semi and although it has gas central heating we've wanted a stove for ever so are getting one fitted at the end of october in our living room. my dad and sister both have them and neither of them but wood. just blown over trees and like (with the council's permission). we'll have to buy our first lot of seasoned wood for this winter but after that are hoping to follow in their footsteps. hope to be able save a bit on our gas bills too.

Hi Bath Bespoke It looks like the vertical section of the staircase was slotted in the gap between the ceiling and the base (stringer?) in one piece - did you have to widen the stair treads to do that? There’s quite a gap between our current spindles and the ceiling/floor as the stairs go up. Is it possible an extra stringer was clad on to accommodate said verticals? It looks such a lovely and simple solution but suspect all components need to be spot on to get it right!

I really like your kitchen as it is, I would just remove the curtains and not replace assuming you're not overlooked given the door isn't covered? I'm not sure which way it faces but it looks to have really good light? If you did want to paint the units id look at little Greene mid lead, I think it will work really well with the terracotta, brick and wood. If you did paint the units I'd update both the handles and the black hinges. I'd leave the entrance doors in wood. The dresser could be left or painted to match. The kitchen table legs could be painted in an inky blue such as railings or a dark green. You could paint the walls in LG French grey pale or their mid version or gauze would also work depending on aspect. Perhaps add a sheepskin or some kind of throw onto one of the chairs for some texture (or your lovely cat :))
