The table is a one off, i'm not sure I could find similar boards. If you can advise the size of table you are looking for I'll give you a proposal utilising the most suitable boards available.

I searched everywhere for a round extending glass table and eventually found this ingenious piece of engineering of an extending table. It extends into a large oval and I have seated upto 10 people around it . It cost a lot of money but I love it, only downside is it takes a lot to keep it looking sparkling clean. Also you can keep an eye on your guest and see if anyone is playing footsie under the table. I have moved several times with this table and it has fitted in perfectly in every home. It also gets a lot of ohh's and ahh's when you show people how it extends. It is worth every substantial penny I bought it for.

Surely you get stuff - food and debris caught in the small gaps and joins of the parquet - not very hygienic, I'd have thought.

Hi @Laura G Please could you tell me how much clearance space you have from the wall to the dining table? I have a similar layout to yourself that I am building. I was considering a different orinentation but structural engineer/architect wouldnt allow once knocked through so decided it was best to sacrafice the side porch in favour of 1 wall kitchen. I'm going through a bit of a design dilemma at the moment preventing me from finishing the project, but actually everything seems to fit nicely for yourself. Do you have a floor plan you could share please? Here's where mine is currently at Thanks :)

Dining table width, 110cm or 120cm?

Wider tables are great. My table. is 120 wide, it fills the room nicely and more importantly there is room in the middle for serving plates. You only feel like you are further apart because you are not used to it because generally restaurant tables are small in order to fit more in
