Which is better, Shower Boarding or Tiled Shower Walls?
Comments (2)Hi! Me again! saying - a combination of the two :-p http://www.grespania.com/coverlam.php?sec=int Like we did in our bathroom, you could also use that 3 mm thin tile that comes in panels as large as 3X1 m. You'd need a good tiler to install it (it needs an almost perfect horizontal/ vertical surface) and can go for an extremely thin grout line. And it's not as expensive as back painted glass or resin panels, it costs just a bit more than an average, normal ceramic tiles....See MoreShower wet wall
Comments (3)Do you mean the big sheets that have a clip together system?? These guys have the biggest selection of most out there ( sadly no actual bricks though, lots of large tile types ) wall panels. However, we have used these in a walk in shower, they are real quartz , they look & feel like briquettes quartz wall...See MoreBathroom wall tiles or panels?? Or Paint?
Comments (2)Definitely panels for me. Around 6 months ago we fitted Nuance by Bushboard in the shower. No mucky grouting and a lot quicker to fit than tiles. You obviously need something behind the basin so could cut down a spare piece of the panel and fit it, therefore continuing the colour scheme and then you could paint everything else. By having somewhere to paint it allows you to change things in a couple of years. If there's no panel left add some tiles just to this area. Tiles all round is boring, time consuming and you can't change things in a couple of years for a new colour scheme without replacing all of them....See MoreWet room walls what to chose
Comments (5)Go with big tiles, so that there is less grouting and therefore less possibility for the water to leak through over time. But we definitely suggest you opt for tiles, they will last you forever, they look smart and won’t scratch or fade like acrylic panels, etc would. Good luck with your bathroom renovation!...See Morefionakilburn82
