Comments (2)You can get extractors that have external/remote motors which are (a bit) quieter but you'll still have induction noise, Faber, Westin, Elica for example. But just having the right sized ducting going smoothly outside can make a huge difference to the noise level and efficiency. The minimum height of the extractor depends on if you're using gas or electric and the manufacturers instructions but as a rule of thumb gas is 750mm from burners and 600 from electric hob but moving it up or down a couple of inches won't make much practical difference, just what looks best to you....See MoreIntegrated extractor fan for 110cm Rangecooker - which one???
Comments (7)I have a 110cm Rangemaster too with the integrated extractor. We went for a Smeg which is 78cm wide and works really well with the hob. I'm afraid I can't remember the model or the price but it was definitely below £600 and I think it was quite a bit less than that.
