What are your thoughts on embossed wallpaper?
Comments (10)I have so much nostalgia towards it I remember my nana having a kind of bubble effect one when I was little I remember how much I loved and she loathed me constantly trying to pop the little bubbles in reality though all I was doing was putting little finger nail marks all over her wallpaper. Although I defiantly wouldn't have it in my house I can see how its valuable on uneven walls as a pose to skimming or lining paper...See MoreWhat are your thoughts on Crittall-style windows?
Comments (83)Hi @Jerry Evans thanks for the thoughtful reply - all right on target. We bought the house with the newly installed windows, so the contract was with the previous owners - not us. Would be nice if Crittall would honour their guarantee or even offer any help but they've yet to do the decent thing. They will not toss their installer under the bus for mis-selling them, nor will they obviously go on record saying they're not suitable for a marine/coastal environment. We're happy to be their test lab!. With respect to condensation the thermal break question is a good one - thanks. If there is one it's not visible and seems woefully ineffective. We have trickle ventilation for the house as a whole but it doesn't reach the windows unfortunately. We do have all the usual extractors and we're starting to look at further air circulation/ventilation solutions. Cheers Bill...See MoreWhat are your thoughts on Denim Drift?

Comments (6)Fine for factories! Far too clinical for home use. Fashion in such things doesn't always take practicality in domestic use into consideration..... the shape is everything but constantly needing to wipe up splashed water from the surrounding surface isn't how I want to spend my life. I've seen such designs in hotel and pub facilities; soon after their refurb unless set on marble or granite, the surface surrounding the basin is damaged by water constantly splashed over it and looks awful....See MoreLei Lou
