Comments (26)Hi Liz I had a look at the images you posted, and I think a lovely green would be great on your kitchen walls! There is a great one, called Persian Green from Colourtrend, i think it has been discontinued on their current colour charts, but is still available to buy, its a lovely warm natural green and would be fab, looking out onto your garden from inside. The blue appears to make the room look slightly cool...so maybe stay away from blues and greys! Defo change the handles, and just plain white roller blinds, with a side winder, no frills, let the light in, clean and fresh too! Hope this helps ;)...See MoreReusing the existing kitchen cupboards
Comments (29)Hi , We are using both colours ...I prefer dark ,hubby prefers light . But both look good so we are leaving the units as they are .just need to change flooring and we are done . It was worth the effort though at the time I was regretting starting the project but the paint and Handle changes have made such a difference to the room. Comments (13)I think Minnie's right, you have 1m of prep space and that includes any space you want for a drainer for the sink. I think you need the extra space at the back, not maybe for the prep, which you could do in the 1m between hob and sink, but for the kettle, toaster, coffee maker maybe, preparing drinks etc. The space is very tight and I think the storage is quite limited. I put the Fridge Freezer in the big grey cabinet, so you could see the difference between it and the rest of the units as it juts out. If possible I would look at the options of removing the door on the right and moving the other door to left to line up with the front door in the hallway. As Daisy mentioned above... it does sounds like a tambour unit is what you are after, tracking one down as a non-trade seller will be tricky though.
We've done a few over the years for your very reasons, the latest one we did is attached.
