New build living room
Comments (5)If you are going to move the T.V to the wall, think about what to do with the wires etc which will hang down on show. I would change the display unit at the end of the room, centralise the armchair and the mirror, ( which is not quite right - it's in the middle of the wall, but doesn't look right over the armchair ). Get a different display cabinet to put the T.V on opposite the sofa, which will open up the entrance to the room, and give you somewhere to hide wiring. I love all the neutral tones that you have with the sofa, cushions, curtains etc. However, I think rather than changing wall colours, all you is to bring in an accent colour, changing a few of the cushions, ornaments and rug....See MoreNew build living room design advice
Comments (7)Hi - I agree with the others that draped curtains would look lovely. A soft grey carpet - especially one in a lustrous pile - would really bring the whole look together. Inchyra Blue is a blue/green, desaturated and dark colour. You could try a blue/green, desaturated slightly light version, it may work better. Here it is on one wall: And here is Oval Room Blue in a different room that looks dimly lit: They look similar due to the amount of light the room naturally receives....See MoreHouse/flat new build
Comments (52)I'd like a little more space to move around (and not bump my head) in both bedroom and bathroom. So in this case I'd opt for a bed near the balcony, because it would give a little more space to prevent the sink/toilet from going under the stairs. Having lived in a single room apartment (25m2) for years -and I loved it- I know making it flow and practical is so very important. Personally I did not mind my bed being used as a sofa too, but I did have quite a deep closet, so I could hang my clothes on the door (that didn't need washing yet) and had quite a large bathroom, so my dirty clothes were in a hamper....See MoreNajeebah
