Comments (30)Hi there, we have just had our kitchen finished in navy blue (RAL2004) we found the 2011 too light. We used Silestone calatatta gold worktops, full height splash back and island worktop, we painted all the walls in Little Greene Tusk, which brings warmth to the walls. Comments (8)The kitchen fascias look cream on my image not white. The easiest option would have been to paint the walls in a bright colour. Painting kitchen fascias is a hard task. Perhaps a sage green? That would fit the country style you’re looking for, it’s a lovely modern colour and should go well with your walls. I’d aim for a lighter shade of green though. Comments (10)I feel there is perhaps too much colour and pattern. I think going for a french country look with white walls, including the brick, blue additions in accessories and for the fabric. I think Zelig tiles in an off white or blue or even pink would suit your kitchen. I would go for a small gingham print for the skirts in a blue, green or pale grey. A thin country stripe would also go well. Just keep the palate simple. Zelig tiles have a lovely pearlised hand made look (first pic). There is a beautiful magazine called Country Homes & Gardens which showcases lovely cottages and other country houses and a great place to get ideas. Pinterest is also good for ideas and is free.
