Colour to go with duck egg sofa
Comments (8)Hi, I'd suggest keeping the colour scheme to light greys and blues since the room is small. A white wall would over power the room, giving it a cold and un homely feel. I think Cornforth White by Farrow and Ball (Image 1) would be perfect. It's not too harsh and it's not too 'clinical' shall we say, it's a washed out grey. I also think A8630D by Crown Paints Trade would do perfectly (image 2). Note: Both images show the paint colours in natural lighting as appose to fluorescent. I don't know how small the room is but I'd suggest, as so to balance the colour in the room, you place a piece of blue-grey art work on the wall, this will add depth. If you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to get in contact and I will be happy to help. Meredith...See Morewhat colour sofa would go in room.with teal walls?
Comments (7)Hi Minnie and Carolina. Yes I changed it to Muga from Paint and Paper library. We bought some artwork for a joint 'big' birthday and felt it needed a more saturated wall to put it on. I have been teaching my students alot about dark/light versus dull/bright colours! Indian Yellow is lovely but I like the more retro feel of this....See Morewhat colour walls would go with a raspberry sofa

Comments (4)Very pretty fabric. The background grey of the curtains would make a lovely wall colour. I don’t think you need anything bolder as the fabrics are quite bold. A pale grey carpet would be a nice neutral. I think you could go quite bold, if you dare, with the sofa though - bright green or teal, or pink. I think the Parker Knolls would look great in a bold velvet, but if that’s too much then a muted grey will still look great and you can liven them up with colourful cushions. Here’s some ideas, but I couldn’t find many images of curtains like yours with a sofa!...See MoreUser
