Hi, this was purchased by the customer, but I believe it came from IKEA.

Thanks tamp75. It turns out the painter is only doing a white mist coat today & is returning later in the week so I have time to buy even more testers. LOL. He said I can paint the testers on the walls in the extension which should help as it is west facing whereas the playroom that I tested them on is east facing. We were originally going to go with Cornforth White kitchen cabinets but DIY's standard light grey was a lovely colour (&,cheaper!) so we went with that. I think if we'd gone with Cornforth White the decision making on the wall colour would have been easier!!

Finished this on Saturday. Was relatively simple to do. Disappointed that the entire floor has been treated except the portion that is now visible. I am debating having someone spray the island or doing it myself. Worktop needs to change and hob needs to move to complete it, but happy with the size as the edge of the worktop is now in line with the edge of the cooker upright. when i replace the worktop, the overhang may be a little shorter. its currently 35cm to account for the hob to ensure that the space is usable in the meantime.

I would move in before making any decisions. Paint colours can only do so much, so I wouldn't focus too much on things like that so start with. Once you are in you will notice the light levels etc and that should help to focus things. If you don't need all of the upper units in the kitchen you could remove the odd one, that might help to open it up a little and create some light. Is there another bathroom? Do you need an ensuite? Maybe it's like a 'kitchen island', a good idea if there's space, a bad idea if not.
