Thank for all the comments. We will get the radiator cover. As for the paneling...I not sure this is in keeping with the Scandanavian theme...eventhou the master bedroom does have paneling which is very nice. We will likely get a bespoke storage unit made on the other side of the bathroom. Something a little fancier to the one already there which houses the washing machine/ dryer and laundry products. Overtime I think we will get a better feel for what works best - art, picture frames, mirrors etc... Keep the suggestions coming!!

My bedroom is about 9.5ft x 11.5ft and with a ceiling height of approx 6.8ft and I have the large version (40cm). As your room is bigger with a higher ceiling I think it will look too small. In my old Victorian house my room was a similar size to your daughters with a 9ft ceiling height and the pendant I had in there was 70cm diameter. You can always order from Laura Ashley, hold it up in the space and if it is too small, return it.

Visualising your colour scheme, I would choose a soft white tile, perhaps Zellige as mentioned above— these tiles are different variations of the same colour . There is a trend at the moment for using quartz continuing up the wall, whilst this can work well, if you wish to avoid that blocky look of a solid slab, tiles can provide a softer finish. In terms of maintenance, if you have an induction hob there will be very little splashing of foodstuffs as this is a gentle way to cook. However, if you are cooking over a flame, I would probably not opt for tiles as there can be a lot of foodstuffs splashing back behind hob. I chose tiles over induction hob in new kitchen and am delighted with result.

Choose a lovely wooden pendant for over your dining table. Have a look at Secto Octo pendant light with black or white emphasis. I like your feature light very much. Heals, Holloways and Graham and Green have some really good options. Don't forget to allow for cleaning access, make sure they are not hung too high to reach. I think the black pendant would go really well with green and brass. The Conran shop also has an incredible lighting selection to peruse online.
