What gardening tool couldn't you live without?
Comments (18)I'm such an easy target for a beautiful garden product! My favourite items are my trug, my wooden handled spade and a roll of twine for tying back climbing plants such as sweetpeas and unruly foxgloves! I would love to own a shed / garden room like this......See MoreCould you live without a car?
Comments (20)No. I live in a small town and work in another small town in Wales. The trip to work, door to door is 30 minutes by car. If I use public transport, the fastest option would be a 15 minutes walk to the local train staition, 15 minutes trip to the central station of the nearest big city, over an hour by bus to the town where I work (it goes around and stops in a lot of villages), and about 20 minutes walk to my place of work. Add the waiting times and it would take minimum 2 and a half hours if I am lucky. Then I have to do it in reverse order to go home. Fortunately sometimes I can work from home and that is what I do when the car is being servised....See MoreWhat's the smallest home you could live in?
Comments (10)I'm not sure my wife would go for that ! too claustrophobic. We're not so much about the space inside, although, my wife would argue that our house is perfect for just the two of us now the kids have gone, although we see a lot of our grandkids and need the space for all their paraphernalia. Our house is a little over 2200 square feet and after 16 years here, we still have to frequently have a good old spring clean to get rid of stuff we don't want or use or we run out of storage. We do however, require quite a good deal of outside space, our plot is around 12000 square feet, we're outside country folk, so big garden, big workshop etc, outside all day long!...See MoreIf you could only save one item in your home, what would it be?
Comments (26)What a terrible question to have to consider- How could you ever choose??? Many say family photos - but you know what - if I lost mine it wouldn't matter too much because I can remember my life in pictures - I was there. We take so many photos on our phone and never look at them we need to try to think back more and remember. My cat? Well, he's not a possession - he chooses to live with us and we are his servants! I suppose it would have to be my first guitar I used professionally - a 1950/early 60s (?) Hofner Congress. Here - have a laugh, this is me in about 1978: The guitar lasted better than I did !...See Morejacksplash
