Comments (102)I'm feeling pleased to say I have now be later in life been enjoying some of the things I'd love to have, for some time so they don't count for my 'one thing I'm still hoping for..' I love my upmarket induction hob with timer that saves my food from my memory when distracted by a phone call for a chat-length of time; no day goes by without the thrill of pulling open my kitchen's larder cupboard where the contents are so visible and high space is utilised. I agree with ? about having a bidet and have just had one installed and another wish - a walk-in shower Yeah!...See MoreWould you convert your garage into an extension?
Comments (8)Hi Just Add Popcorn Limited. That is such a great idea. We like that you break up the space into both storage and entertainment. Garageflex - That is also very true, storage space is very valuable, especially in newer homes that are being converted substantially. In this case, a combination space sounds like it could be the best of both worlds for some homeowners!...See MoreHave you recently done your bathroom or doing so? We'd love to hear!
Comments (4)1.. Did you go through a showroom for design and install? no. 2. How did you first approach the project?? Did you go to multiple showrooms and outlets to look get a scope of the market or maybe look online? I copied a hotel bathroom I had liked as well as a picture from Houzz 2. Did you measure the bathroom yourself? No. If no, would you be confident in measuring your bathroom yourself? No 3. Had you heard of any bathroom manufacturers or companies before you started research to do your own bathroom? No 4. Did you need a lot of help on the layout and design and bathroom? The builders planned it 5. If you were guaranteed by hundreds of customers that the quality was excellent + the manufacturers own guarantee would you still want to touch, feel and see the product before buying it - if you were supplied images like the images at the bottom?? See proposed vs real Would go with reviews 6. What do you wish you had / hadn't done? Happy with it as it is, though wish I'd got my own tiler and not used the builder's 7. What do you love about your bathroom? The big bath, the power shower, the space 8. The first 2 images below are renders, which would you find easier to use to decide, the images below or a panoramic images found here - https://www.desiign.co.uk/visualise-desiign 8. Did you ever feel under pressure and unsure where to turn during the process? Pressured to buy in one store. As the market is so broad a lot of people are sceptical due to the different price points? 9. Did you go over budget? No 10. Lastly, overall, are you happy with the end result baring in mind the journey as well? Any other words also put here! Delighted with it....See MoreWhat would your dream garage look like?
Comments (18)Not at all, the walls were rubbed up plaster so have a textured feel, I just painted them with weathershield white, it’s waterproof and breathable so dosent sweat the walls, the floor is covered a hard rubber interlocking tiles, they are about 4/5mm thick, resistant to petrol, oil etc, not the cheapest thing but looks well. only down side is that the garage can suffer more from condensation in the winter if you don’t run a dehumidifier as the floor is now covered by, what is a waterproof covering (the tiles) so the concre floor can no longer soak any moisture up! i have to run a dehumidifier for this reason. anything else just ask :-)...See MoreBeth H. :
