Mirrors on bedside tables

Would you recommend mirrors on either side of the bed or would one still create a nice effect? I prefer something plain not elaborate... Is a framed mirror more suited than a frame less one? Any suggestions please.

Hi. With the luxurious look you are trying to achieve I would go for something will a nice luxurious frame. Something working with the lamp bases and ceiling light materials.
Mirrors work very well for spaces helping them appear lighter and larger. I would opt for one large one centred above the headboard. You could do three in a row if you wanted slightly smaller items.

If you want to do then I would suggest you do one either side, slightly lower, above the side tables but you would then need something slightly higher above the bed to fill the gap. You would then use art work or a handing of some kind.

At the risk of contradicting previous advice, warm colours suit a dark and north facing room much better. If you are set on blue, then I would go with a rich dark blue - Stiffkey has been mentioned and it is an awesome shade. You could then do the paintwork to co-ordinate with the wardrobes to tie them in, and use patterned or textured soft furnishings as a bridge between the two colours. Embracing the fact that the room is dark rather than fighting it gives you the chance to make it a cosy nest, with plenty of texture to break up big blocks of colour and make it even more warm. A blackout blind and soft full patterned drapes will get around the radiator under the window issue and add more interest. I see you have metallic lamps - more metallics and and clever use of mirrors will help reflect any light you do have in the day, and your low level lamps will help make it warm and intimate at night with reading light as a bonus. Hi Nad Nadine! Congrats on ur first pad!! Check out NEXT for their range of rugs and runners. DUNELM is upping it's game and have a super sweet, yet stylish love heart mirror that will inject some character and luv into your bathroom. A mirrored glass bedside cabinet wouldn't look out of place in your bedroom .. I'm sure you will find plenty to choose from on the HOUZZ website. Hi. Do you have a picture of the room? I like your idea to bring in something contemporary and the bed in the picture is very similar to yours. I do think the table would sit better ideally on a hardwood floor or maybe a patterned rug, or even quite a flat weave carpet though. I'd go for a French antique chest of drawers either in a neutral painted finish or the oak. I also quite like the idea of adding a ghost chair but with a throw or cushion so it doesn't look too samey. I quite like this mirror too:)

It's all very neat, I suggest something to give contrast to all the straight lines.

A large circular or oval mirror with a interesting frame should help.

A mirror is a great idea in any room as it
helps to make the space feel bigger and brighter. I'd suggest placing a mirror on either side of the bed
to frame the area and to also help to reflect natural light around your room.

With regards to the type of mirror to go for, I'd recommend going for a frameless mirror
and having placing them on either side of the bed just above the headboard.

Why not make a feature of this wall by creating a picture gallery in the centre over the bed, between the two mirrors?
