Round kitchen

Hello, I was surprised to see a round kitchen! We are also building a rounded kitchen but I understood the cabinets have to be straight angled. Do you have some information for me about how I can create rounded cabinets? Thank you

You could always have the L shape the other way, so putting a base corner unit at the right hand end of the run of furniture in the alcove to bring the worktop out into the room and loop back on itself. This will just structure the way you enter the room from the RH side, but I don't think it would be an inconvenience. Alternatively, stick with the island idea, especially if you're going for a contemporary look, so you can focus on creating clean lines in your design. If you went with the island, this would be your preparation space. The worktop space on the back wall would be used for quick things only, with the main area of worksurface being your island. This isn't a bad thing. You just need to make sure it works for you. Another idea is, if you wanted more worktop space on the back wall, go for an undercounter oven and swap the larder unit for in-island storage, allowing you 1200mm more worktop space. If I were you, I would find a good quality design company who are local to you (I don't know how far away from us you are but we only cover the Midlands at the moment) and work with a good designer there. Feel free to call us for any design advice you need in the meantime, but it will be much easier for you to work with a dedicated designer who can replicate your kitchen on a design system and show it to you and talk it through.

And when people don’t cut grass mice like it. At my last house the next door was let and when empty they didn’t cut the grass so eventually when it did get cut mice were displaced some into mine. This house was full of crazy stuff inside that we only found out when they tried to sell it but couldn’t. And these houses sell quick usually, I sold mine the first day and completed in six weeks, and my old friend has just sold the first week. Anyway this house had put a massage parlour in the garage all kitted out properly behind from the outside looked like a normal garage door. They kitted out two bedrooms as dressing rooms and the large family bathroom with no windows as a make up room. But apparently it had substantial hooks in the ceiling that people speculated was for an adult play swing! And the large kitchen living area was redone with a massive circular kitchen that looked like a nightclub bar. But at least it looked and still looks normal from the outside.

Hi Andrei, From a circulation view point I think you would naturally enter the room and form an arc to the right to the kitchen arriving at the kitchen island so the dining table would be best on the right I feel. A fire on the left where the vase is would look good visually as you walk in and less cluttered along that wall. If the island is movable I would suggest moving it to the right, closer to the sink and hob to allow a line of site from the sofa to the garden though the French doors. Perhaps a square coffee table tucked in close to the right angle of the sofa would be best for circulation and a bigger rug anchored by the legs of the sofa, perhaps curved on its outer edge to echo a round table?

As a civil engineer, they just look like settlement cracks, and look very fine Was building works passed by structural engineer, lintels sized correctly? However if you are worried, you can easily purchase and fit a few crack monitors over areas which are causing grievances But in my earnest opinion, I wouldn't worry in the slightest as settlement cracks are normal and can open and close due to temperature fluctuations also
