POLL: Separate beds in bedroom - yes or no?
Comments (22)We have a double bed but it's a couple of single divans zipped together, this does cut down on movement being felt when the person your sleeping with turns over... additionally we have separate duvets which is fantastic! My husband likes to be tucked in and have the covers right up to his ears and I can't bear either! In the winter though I hate that wind tunnel down my back so, for us, we want to share a big bed but not a duvet!...See MorePOLL: Would you ever let your partner design your home?
Comments (39)My husband trusts me and prefers I make all those decisions. That said I always ask his opinion on large pieces. If I left it all to him he would lose interest before finishing! Design is so not his thing. But then I'm not interested in documentaries on outer space or Lego.... Best we stick to our own interests I think! ;)...See MorePOLL: Do you change your home according to the seasons?

It's great to add small changes in your home, even if it is changing the flowers in the room to daffodils for the spring time or putting a pop of colour with cushions for the sofa, a small change can make the difference in any room. Decorating for the seasonal festive i.e. Halloween or Christmas is also a big part of showing your unique style in how you decorate....See MorePOLL: Yes or No - a Wine Cooler?
Comments (23)As wine cellar specialists, we regularly work with clients who are passionate about their wines and have the space in their homes for a dedicated wine room or wine cellar. The space might be an existing traditional Victorian or Georgian cellar space, or in a air-conditioned wine room above ground. Having said that, we are also fans of the Wine Fridge because, as Rose points out, they are a great way of keeping a number of bottles (beers and soft drinks included), chilled and ready to serve, right where you need them...in the kitchen! The benefit of freeing up fridge space needed for food, is particularly helpful if you enjoy entertaining! Contemporary Wine coolers look smart and make a wonderful design feature in the modern kitchen, with their glass door, sleek finish and interior lighting. The multitude of sizes and styles available also means that you are sure to find the right model for your home, whether its a slimline under counter model, a fully integrated wine fridge for minimalist kitchens, to full height, large capacity, free standing units. Clearly, we're preaching to the converted here, but if anyone out there is thinking of investing in a wine fridge, then you might find the following blog post helpful: Wine Fridge Buying Guide...See Morehounoc
