Bedroom Design/ColourScheme Help

Hi all,
Currently in the process off designing my bedroom and have selected a wallpaper which looks good, but I'm not confident on how to dress it. The wallpaper will feature on one wall and the remaining walls will be painted.

natural light in the room is plentiful and the room size is quite nice and spacious.

The wallpaper looks quite cold;
What colours should I paint the remaining walls and how do I make the room look warmer with this wallpaper. I will be looking at getting carpet fitted into the room but open to all options.

Farrow & Ball Elephant's Breath seems to be a popular choice. And you can easily warm up the room by adding soft furnishings and accessories in warmer shades.

Grey and copper and rose gold mixes really nicely creating a cosy feel.

Here are few products that would compliment the wallpaper and warm up your ideas:

I agree with you, the blue they've got in the advert doesn't look so great. It's definitely not cozy either! Maple tends to have both gold and pink tones, and so goes wonderfully well with all shades of orange. How about a pale wood floor with apricot and ivory tones? You have some good ivory colours in your second picture. I would start with choosing a rug you liked, I've uploaded a picture of one I would choose which would go well as a starting point, but there are lots to choose from. That would make a very cozy room and fit beautifully with the furniture.

Hi there.. Looks like a great project ... And a great size room.. So if the room is south facing that means light... Maybe lots of it.? So dark furniture. Light to medium walls.. Soft whites, greys maybe a follow through from what you may have existing in your home.. But some vibrant fabrics to lift the colours.. Yellow or mustard. Bright and sunny oranges, reds. This can be used in the throws, bedding, cushions. Art work.. Then whenever you fancy a change.. It's easy and not as costly.. There are lots of enthusiastic people on here, and more photos that you could ever imagine... Good luck and please may we see your results.!!

Hey Jonathan. Great view. I think your choice of colour depends on what you are going for and what else it has to work with- So the look will kind of depend on what else is going in room- for instance I could see a sawn wood floor, lots of natural linen soft furnishings and some brushed nickel accessories. I think this would go really well with a soft white. If your intention was to add some patterned fabric to the main room to continue the wallpaper theme, a beige carpet and an ornate bed then I think a stronger colour for the walls than the illustrated neutral would be better. Hi, Thank you for your reply, would white walls create too much off a contrast, alternatively would a white wall with pinkish under tone cause too much of a clash.

I was looking at matching the paper up with Dulux Chic Shadow.

what colour carpet would work best?

Dulux Chic Shadow would look lovely I think, also I see no problem with the other colour options. Maybe paint few sample patches to see how it matches with the wallpaper so you can see which one you'd prefer.

Carpet wise I would go with light brown tones to add warmth to the room. Something like in the image below maybe.
