The Bungalow.... no longer one of a multitude of mass-produced boxes. Now an imaginative and unique home. Hope this can inspire others to take up the challenge.

I really appreciate the Victorian dining room restoration. They kept the existing historic details like the beautiful plaster, and the new elements like the mantel are appropriate. The colours are lovely, too.

I prefer the country kitchen because of the new clean lines and it's what I would like mine to look like. Great fresh look.

Hard to choose! For me, the loo shows the greatest transformation and I love the sleek look.

I vote the sloping garden. We had our garden completely re-landscaped onto 3 levels because of it's slope. Colossal amount of work involved and this one looks perfect.

I must admit that I like The Tired Bathroom the best, as I have a downstairs loo and seeing that project has totally inspired me with what I need to do this year!!

The Victorian Dining Room gets my vote. The restorers have gone to extraordinary lengths in completely replacing the fire surround with a period surround and opening the fireplace to its original state. Clearly good attention to detail and good workmanship.

The Victorian dining room is a great example of seeing a room restored to its original function, with a design and decor that makes so much more sense.

The bathroom - it's gone from downmarket rental to boutique hotel. Stunning!
