Where can I get an affordable hanging mirror?
Comments (16)Hi Louise You probably already have plenty of options by now! But we have a few mirrors that you might like. The first is our copper hexagonal mirror for £44, click here to view. Or our diamond copper mirror for £36.95, click here to view. And finally our octagon copper mirror for £36.95, click here to view. I hope you find what you're looking for :)...See MoreNew kitchen, UFH, radiators or anything else? Pictures attached ....
Comments (10)I would also recommend that you ask your plumber/heating engineer to check that the rads will actually generate enough heat for the space. As you say you don't have a lot of wall space, but is it possible to install UFH in possible one part of the room/area? We have just come thru the same decision for our new open plan space - but found the UFH water/gas version more cost effective on the bills but more expensive to install than the electric version etc., We stretched and made a few cuts elsewhere to have it - heating the enlarged space properly is so important - especially for me as I feel the cold terribly....See MoreWhere should I hang a mirror?
Comments (20)This is the final part of a whole house renovation and build. We're almost 6 months in. Taking the chimney breast out was our preference - it would have solved problems upstairs too - however due to some peculiarities in the way the house is constructed it wasn't possible. The understairs area is quite sizeable so we have opted to keep it open to increase the footprint of the room. It will have a desk for working from home and homework. We desperately need storage however I think it's the lack of symmetry that throws me out. I'd not considered tongue and groove - something to think about. Might look rather good. Also throwing light around with pics under glass is a great idea. I'd assumed I'd need to use mirrors. Thanks everyone for the great ideas....See MoreWhere should I hang this painting
Comments (15)Thank you so much for all your helpful comments! I've had the painting propped up in different places around the room now and it definitely jumps out more against the blue wall where it's also framed by the entrance to what will soon be the dining area when the table arrives. The photo really doesn't do the colour of the wall or the painting justice. I'll have a think about framing. It hadn't even occurred to me to frame it....See MoreAnne Haimes Interiors
