Brutalist architecture is a polarising topic to say the least! While not an interior style per se, brutalism was a significant architectural period that has left its mark in numerous buildings of iconic status, such as the Barbican Centre and West London's Trellick Tower.
Usually tall, imposing and made entirely from concrete, I've found these buildings typically elicit a negative reaction from onlookers!
Do you see any beauty in Brutalism? Or is it plain ugly? If you are in the absolutely hate camp, can you appreciate the part it has played in architectural history?
