Bathroom inspiration - please help
Comments (18)I think painting is pale doesn't do what you want it to do. I think if you paint it a deep colour it will look expensive which is surely the point for selling. I would paint the walls a deep grey such as Farrow and Balls: Downpipe. I would keep the floor. I would buy a few inexpensive bathroom cabinets and hang them on the wall over the WC (put stuff in here so the sink is uncluttered) I would swap the storage shelves by the bath for something smaller....(smaller makes the room look bigger.) I would hang an oversized mirror over the sink. A white wood slatted blind at the window. Buy a linen basket with a lid so you don't have to look at the dirty washing. Once finished it will look like a brand new bathroom but with significantly less money spent!...See More3 bed + bathroom downstairs or 2 bed + bathroom upstairs?
Comments (22)Front hallway- I say save your money leave it up. Cost of removal is minor but you will likely have to move radiators and electrics and make good plasterwork and coving- I say protect another £1500 profit. Present the larger back reception as a living room and present the front reception as the dining room. Given that the bathroom is likely to go upstairs make the downstairs bathroom into a room to access the garden- I would present the kitchen as a kitchen/breakfast room with doors to see the garden as being able to see from the front door to the back garden should pay dividend....See MoreBathroom tile inspiration
Comments (16)oh my goodness, Sarah, I'm in love with these tiles from Milagros. They are beautiful! I think I will call them tomorrow to check their lead times. Thank you for pointing me to them. Nicola - you know, I've not been into hexagonal tiles, but tonight I tasked my husband with looking at some tile inspiration and he picked out some hexagonal ones. Not so keen on the ones with the stripes, but I love the colours of the plain ones. If they were arranged in a randomised pattern they could be so fun. And they are so cheap! I never thought that the tiles would be the hardest thing to choose! 🙈 Why is that?! Hope you find something you love soon....See MoreNew bathroom tile features needed, can you help inspire me?
Comments (4)I like the blue - and for me, I think I would prefer to replace the border tiles with the same. However I appreciate it can be really tricky to find the exact tile! As an latter native I would consider maybe using a wood effect slatted style tile like these - and I would also get the tiler to tile the bath panel and the boxing in around the sink....See Morefullrenov
