Hallway Help Please!!!
Comments (27)As your style is clutter free (hurray for you), I think a radiator cover will complicate this entrance hall. You have fantastic light flooding in from the front door, and I feel the mirrors are the problem. Remove the one over the radiator, and replace with a statement picture to give colour - match in with your giraffe lamp. The other mirror does not really go with this hallway, as it has wood down the side, and I feel a statement mirror would be far better - love the one suggested by Monica. You have a large hall, and putting plants and bibs and bobs on radiator covers will end up making this calming hall look cluttered....See MoreNeed advice for my hall & stairs! Please :)
Comments (21)A vertical column radiator would indeed be a good option, and I like the anthracite idea. Alternatively, if you could find a traditional tall victorian radiator (may not be easy to source) and finish it in a bronze/verdigris, it could work really well with your dark mint and would be a real statement! Your staircase is lovely, and I would go with a contemporary striped runner, white painted sides and a simple rod....See Morehallway colour suggestions?
Comments (3)To me, painting is the last decision to make. Do your spotlights and wooden/glazed staircase as you say you have planned and then when that is done you then paint according to how it looks then. At least thats what I'd do...See MoreWall paint colour for hallway suggestions
Comments (8)Your house looks fab and the hallway seems to be spacious - you lucky thing!! I think dark blue could work well - my own hallway is white but with one wall painted dark blue - and I love it. However I’ve got serious house envy (and specifically hall envy) at the moment of a blogger who I also follow on instagram - your hallway made me think of hers because the height of your picture rail is similar to the height of some panelling that she’s added. She’s used lovely pale muted shades, and I think it’s gorgeous. https://malmoandmoss.com/home-1/2019/12/6/03ehb3k5ckvleip5u7tunnvgqnoc3o...See MoreBest Heating
