What colours for our dining room booth

Hi,

I'm having trouble deciding on the two colours for our dining room booth. The green bench will basically fit into it. The frame will be in brass as well as the door handles. Any advice would be great!

We moved into our first home just before Christmas and have finally decided to begin working on our living room/dining room! It's a new build property so very plain, and the table and chairs is the contemporary look we want to go for. The sofa, as we've been told in the past, doesn't go with the look we want but unfortunately it's not something we can afford to change at this point..... Thanks mark so much for your kind comment. Lauren, I haven't managed to get round to it yet, but will let you know as soon as I do. Having a nightmare at the moment as found out the gable wall was dangerous so having it rebuilt at the moment, which has preoccupied me somewhat. There is no end wall on the house at the moment. Acid yellow works very well with teal blue (booth seat) and grey, for the wall pattern design I would complement the yellow with either the grey or blue (grey I think would work better, then you can accent the teal blue around the room) Using three key colours is my preference for any room. With the wood, I think if continue to use orange tones, it'll be too...orangey. I'd go for either blue as it's opposite on the spectrum, or continue around the spectrum to yellow-green as a cool colour.
